SOMA Tours
The SOMA Beach Club bar looking out to the islands at sunset

El Nido, Philippines

Sand underfoot, and a long sunset.

A short menu done properly, cold drinks, and the best two hours of the day facing west.

Premium, never pretentious. Social, never chaotic.

El Nido faces west, which means every clear evening ends the same way and everybody knows it. Our job is to give you somewhere worth sitting while it happens — comfortable, unhurried, and with food that holds up rather than food that merely arrives.

Beach Bar opens this season. Beach Club follows on a second site, with a longer kitchen and room to make a whole day of it rather than an evening.

Beach Bar

Beach Bar

Low seating on the sand, a bar that knows what it is doing, and a menu short enough that everything on it is worth ordering. Open through the afternoon and into the night. The natural end to a day on the boats, which is not an accident — it is a few minutes from where they come in.

Beach Club

Beach Club

A second site with daybeds, a full kitchen and space to spend the day rather than the evening. Somewhere to swim, eat properly, and stay put from late morning until the light goes.

What's On

What's On

Sunset sessions, guest cooks and occasional music. We would rather do a few things well than fill a calendar. Details go up here and on our social channels as they are confirmed.

Groups and events

Both venues can be taken privately for groups, and we cater on the boats for charters and expeditions. Catering commitments are confirmed against kitchen capacity before we take a booking, so if we say yes, it happens.
